Fay Andrada

Fay Andrada applies the functional principles of graphic design and her own reductionist aesthetic to making jewelry. The pieces are made primarily of alloys (brass, silver, and bronze) that are shaped into distinctive forms using hammers, files, and flame. Metal jewelry was the instant marriage of Fay's industrial sensibility and her uncommon aesthetic, born of a multi-cultural upbringing and life in New York, Maine and abroad. All pieces are created by hand in her Brooklyn studio.
