Audrey is the pinnacle of the progressive ideals which Bird seeks to champion.

Local, small batch, organic, sustainable, positive impact, and harm free. When was the last time your fashion did as much good as your food?
Bird is excited to announce that self-taught pigment expert Audrey Louise Reynolds has customized an exclusive collection of hand-dyed tees for our Williamsburg location, launched in tandem with the opening of Whole Foods Market Williamsburg on July 26th. These one-of-a-kind, organic Egyptian cotton tees were created in Audrey's studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn using the harm-free natural dyes, which are available for the first time at Whole Foods Market’s Whole Body department.
Not only are the tees themselves made with organic and natural ingredients that benefit the wearer and are harm-free to the maker, such as activated charcoal which is known to draw bacteria, toxins, dirt and other micro-particles out of skin, but they also give back to the community. All proceeds from sales of this limited edition run of ALR x Bird T-shirts and 5% of all sales at Whole Foods Market Williamsburg and Gowanus on July 26th will be donated directly to the Brooklyn Public Library
At a critical moment within an industry facing a sea of change, Audrey is the pinnacle of the progressive ideals which Bird seeks to champion. But this is far from the first time Bird has sought out partnerships and raised awareness to create a positive impact within the retail environment and world. Over half of the brands that Bird carries employ at least one sustainable practice; whether utilizing organic or recycled materials and packaging, paying living wages, establishing mutually beneficial relationships in developing countries to preserve native crafts and supporting local artisans and industries.
Fans of Audrey can find the artist's enchanting window installations at Bird Williamsburg that highlight this unique partnership using live flowers, dyed yardage, and recycled books. And on opening day at Whole Foods Market Williamsburg, Audrey's Fair Trade Certified hand-dyed tote bags will be gifted to the first 250 shoppers.

Shop the ALR x Bird x WFM limited edition T-shirts exclusively in-store at Bird Williamsburg and the full Audrey Louise Reynolds collection at any of Bird’s three locations in Brooklyn and online.
